The ETC was founded in September 2024 by Rachel Efrat-Many, a British-trained teacher. The centre was established with the vision of delivering outstanding English education to both native and non-native speakers in Tel-Aviv and has since expanded to include an after-school English Academy, fun holiday camps and tailored Home-Schooling Programs as well as private English and maths tutoring.

At the ETC, we are committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning. All lessons are led by qualified teachers and supported by native English-speaking assistants, ensuring that every child benefits from small-group attention and expert instruction.

Our approach is both creative and rigorous. Through engaging lessons — from slime-making to code-breaking challenges — students not only enjoy learning but also achieve measurable progress in speaking, reading, and writing. Each child follows a personalised curriculum, with home-learning activities provided after every lesson and individual progress reports written twice a year, offering parents clear insight into achievements and next steps.

The centre’s state-of-the-art facilities, including interactive smartboards and carefully selected resources, create an inspiring environment in which students thrive.
